How to correct hunchback in teenagers

Some teenagers have bad living habits, for example, they always lower their heads and bend their waists when reading, studying or walking, which can cause hunchback problems. When hunchback occurs, it must be corrected in time.

Pay attention to correct body posture. Whether you are standing or walking, keep your chest straight and your shoulders naturally stretched back. Sit with your spine straight. Don't lower your head too much when reading or writing, and don't lie on the table. It is best for growing teenagers to sleep on a hard bed so that the spine remains straight while they sleep. Strengthen physical exercise. Take physical education classes seriously and do exercises during breaks to promote the development of muscle strength. Do corrective exercises as part of your overall exercise routine. There are many types of corrective gymnastics, including various forms of freehand gymnastics and corrective gymnastics using various sports equipment.

Sit in a reclining chair, hold both sides of the chair behind your hips with both hands, hold your head high and chest out, and stretch your shoulders back. Do this for 10 to 15 minutes each time, 3 to 4 times a day. Stand with your back facing the wall, about 30 cm away from it, feet shoulder-width apart, raise your arms and stretch them backwards while tilting your head back up, touching the wall with your hands and then returning to the original position. Repeat 10 times, 2 to 3 times a day. Lie on your back in bed, place a 6 to 10 cm thick pad on the protruding part of your hunchback, relax your whole body, stretch your arms naturally, palms facing up, and stretch your shoulders back. Stay in this position for more than 5 minutes, and do this 2 to 3 times a day.

Sometimes, some teenagers may have hunchbacks due to congenital reasons, such as scoliosis, which cannot be treated through correction. Some other teenagers may have suffered from bone tuberculosis in childhood. At this time, they should actively treat bone tuberculosis and try to avoid hunchback caused by bone tuberculosis.
