What should you pay attention to after vaccination?

It is not advisable to bathe the baby within 24 hours, especially at the vaccination site, to avoid local infection. Keep the local skin of the vaccination site clean and hygienic, and change and wash underwear frequently.

2. Do not allow your baby to scratch the vaccination site with his hands to avoid local infection or aggravated reaction. In case the skin is scratched by the baby, topical medications can be used locally, such as chloramphenicol eye ointment and Band-Aids; if there is constant purulent secretion flowing out of the local area, you should go to the surgical outpatient clinic in time. Make sure your baby drinks plenty of water, rests more, and avoids strenuous activities.

After getting a vaccination, you must pay attention to the cleanliness of the wound and not scratch it with your hands to prevent infection. If a lump appears at the place where the vaccination was given, it is because the medicine was not absorbed by the tissue. Don't worry, the swelling will go away on its own after a few days. It is best to get vaccinations consecutively according to the schedule, but delaying them for a few days will not have any impact.
