From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the heat in the body causes gastrointestinal disorders. At this time, we need to relieve the symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort. The mother needs to study it carefully. Constipation is one of the common childhood diseases that often troubles parents. Children have dry and hard stools, cry and have difficulty defecating, and the frequency of defecation is often significantly reduced, sometimes only once every 2 to 3 days or even 6 to 7 days. This is constipation. Because children's intestinal function is not yet perfect, it is generally not suitable to use laxatives for clinical treatment. The characteristics of constipation caused by accumulated heat are dry and hard stools like sheep dung, difficulty in defecation, and may be accompanied by abdominal distension and pain, bad breath, and hot hands and feet. The treatment is suitable for clearing heat and moistening the intestines. 2. Constipation due to deficiency syndrome is characterized by constipation, difficulty in defecation, or stool that is dry at first and then loose, accompanied by symptoms such as weight loss, fatigue, and loss of appetite. (1) Leek juice: Crush leek leaves and take 1 cup of juice. Drink with warm water, once in the morning and once in the evening. (2) Peel and chop fresh potatoes, add boiling water to mash, wrap in gauze, squeeze out the juice, and take 1 to 2 spoons on an empty stomach every morning. Add honey as needed and drink for about half a month. (3) 10-20g of radish seeds, fry until yellow, grind into fine powder, add sugar, and drink with boiled water, 1-2 times a day. (4) Crush 15 grams of black sesame seeds, boil in water, and eat on an empty stomach. Or 10-20 grams of black sesame seeds, stir-fry until fragrant, crush them, fry with eggs or put them into steamed buns or bread, 1-2 times a day. Gastrointestinal diseases can be better alleviated through diet, because children may be more willing to choose diet therapy, and the above-mentioned diet therapy is relatively light and is very good for gastrointestinal absorption.
