Tips for baby's four-month-old food accumulation

Under normal circumstances, four-month-old babies can only lie in bed and cry for food. They have to eat whatever their parents feed them. They can't do anything except lying down. Therefore, the stomach cannot provide enough power to digest too much food, which often causes gastric indigestion. Once the baby has gastric indigestion, they cannot express where they are uncomfortable, and will protest by fasting. Therefore, parents must pay attention to the baby's physical condition and eliminate the baby's indigestion in time. Here are some tips for treating indigestion in four-month-old babies.

1. Diet therapy

Sugar-fried Hawthorn

Function: Clear the lungs and help digestion. Especially for dealing with indigestion caused by eating too much meat.

Preparation: Take an appropriate amount of brown sugar. If the baby has fever symptoms, you can use white sugar or rock sugar instead. Put it into the pan and stir-fry over low heat. To prevent it from burning, add a small amount of water. Add an appropriate amount of pitted hawthorn and stir-fry for another 5-6 minutes until you can smell the sweet and sour taste. Let your child eat a small amount after each meal.

Yam Rice Porridge

Function: Regulate the spleen and stomach, nourish yin and fluid. It is used for children with indigestion, loss of appetite, weight loss, and sallow complexion and thin body.

Preparation method : Take 100 grams of dried yam slices, 100 grams of rice or millet (corn), and appropriate amount of white sugar. Wash the rice clean, crush it together with the yam slices, put it into the pot, add appropriate amount of water, and cook it into porridge.

White Radish Porridge

Function: Open the chest, relieve gas, and strengthen the stomach. It is effective for children's indigestion and abdominal distension.

Method: 1 white radish, 50 grams of rice, and appropriate amount of sugar. Wash the white radish and rice separately. Slice the radish and boil it for 30 minutes before adding the rice and cooking together. Cook until the rice is soft and the soup is thick, add appropriate amount of brown sugar and bring to a boil.

In fact, vinegar is also a treasure. For babies who are harmed by eggs, you can mix a tablespoon of vinegar with rice soup. If the baby feels nauseous after eating too much greasy food, he can drink a few sips of vinegar. He will feel more comfortable if he takes small sips and swallows slowly.

2. Massage therapy

Chiropractic

Have the child lie flat on his back, face down. Parents should pinch both sides of the spine with the thumb, index finger and middle finger of both hands, pressing as they pinch, from bottom to top, then from top to bottom, 3-5 times, once every night.

Massage Zhongwan

The Zhongwan acupoint is halfway between the center of the chest and the navel. Parents should use the base of their palms to rotate and massage twice a day.

Moyongquan

The center of the sole of the foot is the Yongquan point. Parents should press the Yongquan acupoint with their thumb and rotate and massage it 30-50 times, twice a day.

3. Exercise therapy

Outdoor Activities

Insist on letting your children do outdoor activities. If the weather is cold, you can let your children go out for half an hour to an hour every day when the sun is shining and the wind is light.

Take a walk after dinner

After eating, take your baby on a gentle walk for half an hour to an hour.
