What medicine should children take for cough and phlegm?

Decoction in water to extract juice, add rock sugar, take 1 dose daily; it moistens the lungs and resolves phlegm, treats chronic cough with little phlegm, shortness of breath and dry throat.

4. Radish and pig lung cough soup

1 radish, 1 pig lung, 15 grams of almonds. Add water and cook for 1 hour, eat the meat and drink the soup; it can clear away heat and resolve phlegm, relieve cough and asthma, and treat long-term cough, excessive phlegm and shortness of breath.

5. Stewed pears with rock sugar to reduce phlegm and relieve cough

Peel the fresh pears, split them open and remove the cores. Add appropriate amount of rock sugar and steam them in a pot until soft.

6. Huangjing Rock Sugar to Relieve Cough and Asthma

30 grams of Polygonatum sibiricum (Chinese herbal medicine) and 50 grams of crystal sugar. Wash the Polygonatum odoratum, soak it with cold water, put it in a casserole, add rock sugar and appropriate amount of water, put the pot on the stove, boil it with high heat, then simmer it with low heat until the Polygonatum odoratum is cooked, twice a day.
