1. Green stools,

There are many reasons for green stool:

First, bile is green in color. When passing through the intestines, it undergoes a chemical reaction with intestinal bacteria and turns yellow. Young babies have short intestines and fewer bacteria, so bile is excreted from the body before it is fully converted. Therefore, green or yellow-green stools for babies under 2 months old are a physiological phenomenon.

Secondly, when you catch a cold, intestinal motility speeds up, and the bile is excreted before it turns yellow, so the stool that comes out is also green.

Third, when the acidity and alkalinity in the intestines reaches a certain delicate value, bilirubin will turn into biliverdin. Hence the green stool.

Fourthly, some babies eat too fast and the mother switches breasts too frequently, resulting in the baby only eating too much foremilk. Foremilk is rich in lactose. The amount of lactose consumed exceeds the baby's intestinal digestion capacity. Too much sugar goes to the rectum and ferments, forming green and loose stools. (Green stools have nothing to do with the mother eating green vegetables, as chlorophyll will not enter breast milk; it has nothing to do with not being full; it has nothing to do with being frightened!)

2. Foam,

The slightly sour taste is also caused by the baby eating too much foremilk and relatively little hindmilk. Foam is the product of incomplete metabolism of sugar. Some mothers said that when they ate too much sweets, their children's stools would be obviously foamy.

3. Milk curd,

That is, the granular stuff in the stool that looks like undigested milk lumps. Some people say it is undigested fat. This kind of baby obviously eats too much nutrition, which cannot be digested and is excreted from the body.

4. Smells like rotten eggs

It is caused by excessive protein in milk and indigestion. (Some mothers said that if they ate a lot of eggs during the confinement period, their babies would have very smelly farts and poop that smelled like rotten eggs.)

5. Mucus is said to be the product of undigested saliva? (I personally have some doubts about this.)

6. Yellow oily substance Some babies’ stools are shiny and look oily. Even when I fart, I come out with some yellow oily substance. This is the kind of food that mothers eat that is greasy and cannot be digested.

7. Water and stool separation…

When the baby was more than five months old, he had water and feces separation, and his feces were like paste, which lasted for more than a month. He went to the hospital for tests and found nothing abnormal. Later, I caught a cold and recovered inexplicably. There is no explanation (at least I haven't found a more credible explanation! If any of the above stools appear, or a mixture of several situations. Then we can only check from the mother's mouth! Any disease does not have a single symptom, not to mention that the child's mental state is the least likely to conceal the disease!
