Reasons for a child to have a fever after taking a bath

Sometimes, if a child’s resistance is not so good, he or she will catch a cold and have a fever after taking a bath. This is mostly due to catching a cold or a viral infection. No matter what the cause is, you should find a way to relieve it as soon as possible to prevent your child from developing complications, such as the most common disease is tuberculosis.

1 Tuberculosis is a common cause of low fever, with pulmonary tuberculosis being the most common. In the early stages, if there are no symptoms or signs, a chest X-ray examination should be performed promptly. The second is extrapulmonary tuberculosis, such as tuberculosis of the liver, kidney, intestine, mesenteric lymph nodes, pelvis, bones and joints. In addition to local symptoms, there are often symptoms of tuberculosis poisoning, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate and strongly positive tuberculin test. Anti-tuberculosis treatment has a definite effect, which is helpful for diagnosis.

The onset symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis in the elderly are not obvious, and they have many lung complications. A negative tuberculin test can easily be diagnosed as chronic bronchitis or asthma. Therefore, if elderly people have long-term persistent cough, sputum, and are prone to colds, and anti-inflammatory drugs are ineffective, and they have low fever, fatigue, and poor appetite, they should be promptly tested for tuberculosis in their sputum (smear or TB-PCR) and have a chest X-ray. Elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis are prone to be complicated by extrapulmonary tuberculosis such as tuberculous meningitis, pleurisy, peritonitis, bone, kidney, and lymph node tuberculosis.

2Chronic pyelonephritis is a common cause of low fever in female patients. There may be no obvious symptoms, signs, or even normal urine tests, with low fever being the only symptom. Timely detection of urine Addi cell count, first morning midstream urine culture and colony count, such as urine white blood cell> 5/HP, bacterial culture positive, colony count> 105 can confirm the diagnosis.

3. Chronic focal infections such as sinusitis, gingival abscess, prostatitis, biliary tract infection, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, etc. Irregular low-grade fever is common and is often accompanied by local symptoms and signs, which disappear when the lesions are cleared.

4 AIDS is a systemic disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) that invades and destroys the human immune system and damages multiple organs. It can be transmitted sexually through blood and body fluids. The clinical manifestations are complex. Its basic feature is that HIV causes damage to human cellular immunity, placing the body in a severe, progressive state of immunodeficiency, leading to complications of various opportunistic infections and malignant tumors, manifested as long-term irregular fever, chronic diarrhea for more than 1 month, weight loss that is ineffective with general antibiotic treatment, unexplained generalized lymphadenopathy, and repeated bacterial, fungal, and protozoan infections. Anti-HIV P24 antigen testing should be performed in a timely manner in combination with epidemiological data.

5CMV infection may present with persistent low-grade fever, similar to infectious mononucleosis and viral hepatitis, which is diagnosed based on anti-CMV IgM testing.
