What to do if your baby has black lips

Many of the body functions of infants cannot be fully expressed, so the physical performance of infants will be somewhat different from that of adults, but the difference will not be very huge. Some mothers found that their children's lips were black. What is going on? Will it affect the baby's health? What should we do? What is the right thing to do?

He may have anemia. You should take him to check his hemoglobin. Most cases of anemia in babies are iron deficiency anemia, which is caused by nutritional imbalance, gastrointestinal dysfunction or relative lack of hematopoietic substances. After a normal child is born, the body will store a lot of iron, enough for the child's growth and development for 3 to 4 months. However, as the child grows, by the time he is six months old, the stored iron in his body has been depleted. Babies over 4 to 6 months old must regularly add complementary foods and take in some iron-containing foods. The iron in egg yolks is easily absorbed and utilized, so egg yolks are indispensable. Babies can also eat some green vegetable puree. You can add minced meat, meat floss, animal blood, liver paste, etc. to your child's food. Fresh fruit juice containing vitamin C helps promote children's absorption of iron. In addition: Children with anemia look sallow or pale, have thin and sparse hair, are irritable, afraid of cold, have weak body resistance, and are prone to colds, indigestion, diarrhea, and even pneumonia. Laboratory tests showed that hemoglobin was less than 11 grams per 100 ml. Therefore, it is recommended that you first ask your doctor to use medication to correct your baby's anemia, and then make a reasonable diet arrangement for your baby to supplement his diet.

The above is what we should do as adults when babies have black lips. No matter what situation we are in, we should always stay calm. If we ourselves seem to be very panicked, how can we have any chance to help our baby?
