Can honeysuckle be used to treat baby eczema?

We all know that newborn babies have relatively poor physical fitness, so if their skin is frequently exposed to the outside world, it will easily develop problems, such as eczema. Eczema is one of the common skin diseases in babies, which troubles many parents. Some mothers have heard that baby eczema can be treated with honeysuckle. Is it effective? Today, the editor will share some knowledge in this area with you.

Honeysuckle can treat mild eczema in babies. Honeysuckle water is effective in removing eczema and prickly heat. Honeysuckle itself is very mild and is only for external use. It has no side effects. It should not be too concentrated when washing. Use a small handful of honeysuckle to soak or boil it in two bowls of boiling water, then squeeze it and mix it in the bath water.

A small folk remedy for treating mild eczema in babies: 5 roots of Kuding tea, 10 chrysanthemums, a small handful of honeysuckle. Soak the above ingredients in hot water for a while, and when it cools down, you can use gauze to apply it to the eczema area (not broken areas), apply 3-4 times a day, and soak it again on the second day. It will be completely cured in about 5 days! Mothers can try it. It is a pure herbal formula with excellent results and no side effects.

Take a small handful of honeysuckle (about 10 grams), put it in a clean (non-greasy) pot, add a large bowl and a half of water (about 400 to 500 ml), add a little salt (about 1 to 2 grams), cook over medium-low heat for 15 minutes ((of which, boil for at least 10 minutes), remove the honeysuckle residue after cooling, and keep the honeysuckle brine for later use (the honeysuckle residue will settle at the bottom of the container and is not difficult to remove).

Honeysuckle salt water is best used on the same day. If left for too long, it may go bad.

How to use: Two to three times a day (can be more), take a little honeysuckle salt water, use a medical cotton ball, and gently apply it to the baby's face and body where eczema and redness occur, just moisten it (honeysuckle salt water has no side effects.)

When bathing your baby, you can pour the remaining honeysuckle salt water into the bath water and use it for bathing your baby. If you don't take a bath, you can cook less to avoid waste.

Newborn babies are very prone to illness, so parents should pay more attention to their baby's physical condition. Babies with eczema can be treated with honeysuckle. I hope that the method of treating baby eczema with honeysuckle shared by the editor above will be helpful to all parents, and I also hope that every baby can be healthy.
