Once suffering from cerebral palsy, the patient needs timely treatment, otherwise the treatment of cerebral palsy will be very complicated when the condition becomes serious. Common cerebral palsy patients are children, and there are many such patients. The rehabilitation training method for cerebral palsy children is very critical and has some help in alleviating the patient's condition. What are the rehabilitation training methods for cerebral palsy children?

Rehabilitation training methods for children with cerebral palsy:

1. Head control training: Learning to lift the head during the development period of infants and young children is the main prerequisite for learning other activities. During training, you can support the child's head on both sides so that the head can be stably maintained in an upright central position. When the head is accustomed to maintaining the correct posture for most of the sitting time, the child's trunk can be tilted forward and sideways to help him learn to control his head and keep it stable.

2. Functional training of upper limbs and hands: It is best to perform in a stable posture, focusing on correcting the spastic pattern of the upper limbs of children with cerebral palsy. You can grasp the outside of the child's elbow with one hand and hold the child's hand with the other hand to lift and abduct his arm. Externally rotate your shoulders and straighten your elbows, with your palms facing up. Encourage the child to bring his hands to his chest, play with his fingers, and grasp toys of various shapes and colors.

3. Lower limb exercises: a. Walk barefoot in front of a gymnastics mirror, or walk on two parallel lines on the ground; b. Squat exercises, jumping exercises, single-leg standing exercises, knee flexion and extension exercises, and dorsiflexion exercises; c. Walking exercises on a balance beam. Certain types of patients need assistance from their family members or braces for lower limb exercises; d. Those who drool should practice swallowing exercises a hundred times a day, and those with language disorders should start practicing speaking with the simplest sentences, paying special attention to practicing singing loudly with the accompaniment of music. Cerebral palsy patients can indeed improve their language and intelligence by learning to practice singing.

These are the rehabilitation training methods for children with cerebral palsy. Family members can use these rehabilitation training methods with confidence. They have a good effect in alleviating the patient's disease. However, it should be noted that the treatment of cerebral palsy takes a long time, so the patient's family members need to pay attention and must be patient to accompany the patient in treatment.
