What are the common diseases in pediatrics?

Children's physical health is an issue that parents are most concerned about. We know that children's organs are not fully developed, so their disease resistance and digestion abilities are relatively poor. Children are prone to various diseases. Parents must do a good job of caring for their children in daily life. Once a child becomes ill, they must seek treatment in time. Below we will introduce some common pediatric diseases.

Colds (acute upper respiratory tract infections) are common diseases in children, accounting for 70% to 80% of pediatric outpatient visits. Since children are born with weak constitutions and are easily affected by wind-evil, they can get sick all year round. The peak incidence is between 6 months and 3 years old, and more than 90% of the pathogens are viruses. Generally, the fever will recur for about 3 days, and it is more obvious at night. Not only is it difficult for children to take medicine, but the infusion also aggravates the pain. Parents suffer both physical and mental torture.

Diarrhea (diarrhea disease) Diarrhea disease is a group of diseases caused by multiple pathogens and factors. It is one of the important causes of malnutrition, growth and development disorders and death in children. In my country, the mortality rate of the disease has dropped significantly due to the improvement of children's nutritional status and medical conditions, but its incidence rate is still high, especially in areas with poor conditions. Therefore, diarrhea is one of the key diseases to be prevented and treated in my country.

Anorexia in children refers to the symptoms of long-term decreased appetite or lack of appetite in children. It is not an independent disease. Patients generally have few symptoms, that is, they have no appetite for a long time, hate eating, and eat significantly less than normal children of the same age. They have symptoms such as belching, nausea, abdominal distension, irregular bowel movements, or are accompanied by pale complexion, thin body, dry mouth and thirst, but their spirits are still good and their activities are as usual. A small number of children suffer from certain chronic diseases, such as peptic ulcer, chronic hepatitis, tuberculosis, long-term constipation, zinc deficiency, etc. Most of them are caused by bad eating habits, unreasonable eating system, poor eating environment and psychological factors of parents and children.

Recurrent exogenous fever refers to the frequent occurrence of upper and lower respiratory tract infections within one year, which exceeds the normal range. The causes of the disease include: congenital weakness, improper feeding, inappropriate care, environmental influences, repeated infections, long-term illness and physical weakness, etc.

Getting sick is inevitable, and mothers don't need to worry. As long as they are more careful with their children and detect and treat the disease early, the children will not suffer too much and mothers will not be too worried. In the early stages of some diseases, changes occur in the body. If a child shows signs of illness, he or she should seek medical attention early and not trust advertisements for nutritional or health products.

In the above article, we introduced the reasons why children are prone to diseases. We recommend that our friends should take good care of their children in their daily lives. Once a child becomes ill, they should be treated in time. The above article introduces in detail the common pediatric diseases.
