Have you ever paid attention to children's vision development?

The development of adolescents has always been of great importance to everyone. We know that the future of our motherland depends on the development of generations. If the reserve force is not good, it will be difficult to achieve real development. Of course, children's vision development is a very important part. Now let us look at some related knowledge.

When a baby is born, he will respond to light, but his eyes are not fully developed, his visual structure and optic nerve are not yet mature, and his vision is only 1/30 of that of an adult. He can follow objects in front of him, but his field of vision is only about 45 degrees and his visual acuity is only 1/30 of that of an adult.

1 to 3 months

After a baby is one month old, he or she has the ability to look and fixate his or her eyes. He or she will look at the person holding him or her, but this cannot last too long as his or her eyes can easily lose coordination. After three months, the baby's field of vision can reach 180 degrees. He can see his own hands and feel his own existence. At this point, most babies' vision can smoothly "follow" moving objects, and they can also fix their gaze on an object.

4–6 months

The retina of babies aged 4 to 6 months is well developed. They can see from near to far and from far to near, and begin to develop a sense of three-dimensionality at 4 months. During this period, babies will use their sight to look for the source of sound or track moving objects. For example, when mom walks around the room, the baby's eyes will follow. At this time, the baby is able to turn his body and will reach out to grab what he sees, such as a small pendant hanging above the crib. The visual acuity at this time is about 0.1.

6–12 months

After 6 months, the eyes can focus and the child will adjust his posture so that he can see clearly what he wants to see.

At 8 months old, if something suddenly disappears from their sight, they will have a searching reaction. They especially like to use their sight to track objects in front of them, and the coordination between their eyes and hands is also relatively smooth. At this time, the baby's vision remains between 0.1 and 0.2.

After 8 months, the baby can really recognize relatives with his eyes. At this time, babies actively use their body's sensory organs such as vision, hearing, and especially touch to understand the world.

Therefore, we cannot only focus on the height and weight of children. In many cases, vision is also very important. Especially in our country now many children have to wear glasses at an early age. This is actually a very bad thing. I hope everyone can protect their eyes more.
