Causes of recurrent asthma attacks in children in autumn and winter

Children are more likely to experience symptoms of asthma and cough in autumn and winter because the weather is cold and the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract are easily repeatedly irritated when they go out. If the baby's immunity is relatively poor at this time, it may cause asthma, which is quite harmful to the child. Regular treatment must be carried out in a timely manner. At the same time, it is necessary to understand the allergens and prevent the recurrence of this disease.

Causes of recurrent asthma attacks in children in autumn and winter

1. Haze and dust particles

As the air quality deteriorates, smog becomes more and more serious. If parents take their children out, the smog is likely to enter the children's respiratory tract, irritate the respiratory system, and cause allergic asthma. Therefore, parents should try to take their babies out as little as possible. Even if they go out, they must take protective measures, such as wearing masks, to keep their babies away from smog and dust from the source.

For those who are not used to wearing masks or are allergic to them, you can choose to use "Tais Pollen Blocker", which can have a good filtering effect and reduce the chance of haze particles entering the nasal cavity and respiratory tract.

2. Mite allergens in the home

Household items such as clothing, bedding, stuffed toys, carpets, pillows, etc. are the main sources of mite allergies. Mites are tiny but are everywhere. Their excrement is eventually drawn into the air as dust and enters the human respiratory tract through breathing. Without being noticed, they slowly invade our respiratory tract and cause the occurrence of allergic asthma.

Experts remind parents that dust mites and mold are easy to breed in winter, so do not use bedding made of down, fur, etc. at home. Remember to wash clothes and dry bedding more often every week. Keep fewer pets at home. After all, pets' fur can easily be contaminated with these allergens, making them everywhere in the house. Some cosmetics and paints may irritate children, so try to avoid these as well.

3. Delicious food

Food is also a major possible cause of asthma in babies. Children often eat milk, eggs, soybeans, seafood, etc. These foods are likely to cause asthma and should be eaten less or even not at all. Leeks, onions, etc. may also cause allergies.

The above three allergens are common triggers of asthma. After understanding these, parents should find out the allergens in life. You can choose to find it through allergen testing. If it is not included in the inspection items, it can also be discovered through careful observation.
