Why does the child snore?

Many people think that children do not snore normally, but some children do snore and the frequency of snoring is relatively high. Children snore due to excessive exercise or excessive fatigue during the day. As parents, it is very important to pay attention to the reasonable control of children's sleep time.

1. The baby's sleeping posture may be wrong, sometimes with his neck bent. Try letting the baby sleep with his head sideways. This will prevent the tongue from drooping too far back and blocking the breathing passage. Maybe the snoring problem will be solved.

2. It may be due to being too tired during the day, or being sick with a cold. It's okay, just observe more. My baby sometimes has this problem, but I can't tell where he's uncomfortable. Just lower the pillow a little bit and he'll be fine. If his neck is hunched, straighten his head.

3. Milk curd congestion in young babies: Some very young babies may sometimes snore. This is not a disease, but is caused by milk curd congestion. Due to swallowing, some babies will have milk clots in their throats. On the one hand, it makes it difficult for the baby to feed smoothly. On the other hand, it makes the airway obstructed, causing the baby to snore while sleeping.

Countermeasure: After feeding the baby, the mother should not put the baby down to sleep immediately, but should hold him up and pat his back gently to prevent the baby from snoring due to milk accumulation. If the milk clots are severe and have affected breastfeeding, you only need to drop 1 to 2 drops of saline solution into the nasal cavity to dilute the milk clots.

4. Some babies occasionally snore while sleeping. This may be due to the relaxation of breathing-related muscles during sleep, especially the relaxation of the tongue muscles, which causes the root of the tongue to droop slightly backwards, affecting the exhaust during exhalation. When the body position is changed, the position of the tongue is also changed, and the snoring disappears. In this case, there is no need to go to the hospital for treatment.

5. Swollen tonsils:

Tonsils, also called tonsils, grow on both sides of the pharynx and have the function of defending and resisting the invasion of external pathogens. Some babies have overly enlarged tonsils, so that the tonsils on both sides almost touch each other, blocking the pharyngeal cavity and causing breathing difficulties. When they fall asleep, they will breathe through their mouths and make snoring sounds. In addition, tonsils are organs of the immune system. When the body's reactivity is disordered and resistance is reduced, the tonsils will also become inflamed and swollen.
