My baby’s body temperature is normal but his hands and feet are hot. Why?

It is almost September now and the beginning of autumn has passed. For friends in some areas, the weather is gradually getting cooler and the temperature in the room is also starting to drop. At this time, the babies at home may easily catch a cold and then have a fever. Some parents have found that their baby's body temperature is not very high, not to the point of fever, but their hands and feet are very hot. What's going on?

First of all, because the baby's body temperature is normal, it means that he does not have a fever, so this is internal heat. The place where babies are most likely to suffer from internal heat is the gastrointestinal system. Under normal circumstances, the probability of babies suffering from constipation is very high, especially children who drink milk powder are most likely to suffer from constipation. The food they eat is not digested well and is accumulated in the body, gradually forming internal heat. When encountering this situation, parents should consciously regulate the baby's stomach and intestines.

How should we treat babies with indigestion? Of course not by taking medicine directly. Not to mention that many babies are difficult to feed medicine, medication often has side effects for babies. Therefore, we should let the baby drink more water and eat some seasonal fruits. If the baby consumes more fruits, constipation will naturally not occur. In terms of diet, it is also necessary to follow the principle of eating small meals frequently so that the baby's appetite will no longer have extra burden during the conditioning process.

If the baby's palms are hot, it means that there is internal heat, which is mostly caused by poor gastrointestinal digestion and lasts for a long time. But occasionally it is due to cold and cough, especially when the weather gets cold. Symptoms such as cold and cough indicate that the child's body is in a sub-healthy state. The temperature of the palms and soles of the feet rises at night, which is the baby's immune system performing the body's cleansing function. As long as the baby's runny nose and cough are significantly reduced at night, there is no big problem. In addition to taking medicine as prescribed by the doctor, the thickness of the quilt should not be controlled well at night.
