How to teach children to bend down

Bending back is a basic movement in dance and it cannot be mastered overnight. On the one hand, it requires a combination of skill and strength, and on the other hand, it is also affected by the individual's own qualities. Practicing the waist bend not only stretches the body, but also serves as the basis for learning other dance moves. Although the results and quality of bending back vary for many people due to various reasons, in fact the practice is very similar. Here we will introduce how to teach children to bend back.

How can children bend their waists the fastest?

1. Prepare activities. Before each exercise, you should warm up in advance, do sufficient warm-up exercises, and stretch your muscles and bones to better achieve the effect of the exercise and avoid hurting yourself.

2. Practice with the help of a wall. When children first learn to bend down, it is best to practice on a bed covered with a quilt, holding on to a wall. Just spread your legs naturally, face the wall, tilt your head back, and put your palms behind your back, gradually moving them downwards until your palms touch the bed. At the beginning, if you really can't lower yourself, don't force yourself. You can bend your waist halfway first. This requires more practice and gradual progression.

3. Practice kneeling down. After you have practiced bending down against the wall, you can practice kneeling down. Just kneel on the mat first, then try to stretch your arms back, touch the ground with your hands, and slowly support your body. Or you can just lie on the bed, use your hands and feet to support your body and bend down. The main purpose of doing this is to exercise the body's flexibility and find the feeling.

4. Seek help from others. This is a very good method, which is not only safe but also effective. Just let the child stand with his feet apart, raise his arms, lean back, and the helper hugs the child around the waist to help him complete the lower back bend smoothly. With this kind of training, you will be able to do it on your own after a period of time.

5. Be bold to try. After practicing to a certain level, you can practice bending down on your own without any other aids. But some children are timid and dare not do it if there is no adult around. In this case, adults can accompany and protect them, and encourage the children to do it boldly. It will get better slowly. Never be impatient or scold the children.

6. Keep training. After the child has mastered the method and can bend down on his own, the next step is to persist in training every day. When the child can bend down flexibly and freely, you can increase the difficulty of the exercise if necessary. The key is to have confidence and perseverance.
