Cefprozil Granules for Children

Cephalexin is an anti-inflammatory drug. Many people can take cephalexin to reduce fever when they have a cold or fever. 1. For oral administration, add appropriate amount of warm water, stir well and then take. Adults (13 years or above) for upper respiratory tract infection, 0.5g (4 bags) each time, once a day; for lower respiratory tract infection, 0.5g (4 bags) each time, twice a day: for skin or skin and soft tissue infection, 0.5g (4 bags) per day, divided into 1 or 2 times; for severe cases, 0.5g (4 bags) each time, twice a day.

2. For upper respiratory tract infection in children aged 2 to 12 years, 7.5 mg/kg body weight each time, twice a day; for skin or skin and soft tissue infection, 20 mg/kg body weight each time, once a day

3. For otitis media in infants from 6 months to 12 years old, take 15 mg/kg body weight twice a day. For acute sinusitis, generally take 7.5 mg/kg body weight twice a day. For severe cases, take 15 mg/kg body weight twice a day.

Instructions for use: Twice a day, half a pack each time.

Advantages and disadvantages of medication: The main ingredient of cefuroxime granules is an anti-inflammatory antibiotic. It is in granular form, easily soluble in water, and tastes a bit sweet, so children will not have a big rejection reaction when eating it.
