First, oral ulcers are very common. Their causes are directly related to oral infection, vitamin deficiency, allergies, etc., but white matter in the mouth will be accompanied by the formation of blisters, accompanied by pain, decreased appetite, and crying during feeding.

Second, oral herpes is generally caused by viral infection and is contagious. Small blisters usually appear on the oral mucosa and other parts of the body, often accompanied by fever, pain, colds, swollen lymph nodes, etc.;

Third, milk stains are mainly caused by the thick, greasy and white tongue coating formed by milk residue when the baby is feeding. It only exists on the tongue and can be easily wiped off. This situation is more common in babies with indigestion or constipation;

4. Thrush is mainly caused by Candida albicans infection. It occurs on the oral mucosa and tongue and is covered with a layer of clot-like small spots or small white flakes. It is not easy to wipe off. Under normal circumstances, it will not affect the baby's breastfeeding, but it is more common in babies who are malnourished, have long-term diarrhea, or have been using antibiotics, hormones and other drugs for a long time.

Therefore, based on the analysis of the above reasons, the white substance in the baby's mouth is directly related to thrush.
