Tips for treating bloating in 3-year-old children

Flatulence is a disease that is not limited to any age group. It can occur at any age, including newborns. However, the treatment methods for children with flatulence are somewhat different from those for adults because their bodies are more fragile. However, there are still ways to solve the problem of flatulence after they occur. So what are the tips for 3-year-old children with flatulence?

Babies with bloating need a balanced diet and good eating habits. Do not let the baby be hungry for too long before feeding. You can do moderate abdominal massage to promote intestinal motility and gas discharge. If the baby's stomach is abnormally bloated, you need to seek medical attention in time. Using wind-repellent oil on the baby's abdomen and covering it with a warm towel can also help. These help gastrointestinal motility and gas discharge to improve digestion and absorption function.

1. Nutritionally balanced diet: If breast milk contains too much sugar, the sugar will ferment excessively in the baby's stomach and easily cause the baby to have intestinal gas. At this time, the mother should pay attention to limiting her sugar intake. In addition, if you suspect that your eating may cause your baby's bloating, then breastfeeding mothers should eliminate suspicious foods such as beans, corn, sweet potatoes, cauliflower and spicy foods from their diet.

2. Cultivate eating habits: Do not let your baby be hungry for too long before feeding. If your baby is hungry for too long, he will suck too quickly and swallow a lot of air. Therefore, you should feed your baby on time, and after feeding, gently pat your baby's back to promote burping and allow gastrointestinal gas to be discharged from the esophagus.

3. Abdominal massage: Moderate massage can promote intestinal peristalsis and gas discharge, thereby relieving baby's stomach bloating. The specific method is to wash your hands, then use your palms to gently massage the baby's belly in a clockwise direction with the baby's belly button as the center. Each massage lasts about 5 minutes. Your hands should be warm and the pressure should be moderate, otherwise it may make your baby uncomfortable.

One-month-old babies are prone to flatulence. First of all, mothers should be calm, as this is a normal phenomenon. Secondly, when the baby is awake, you can put the baby on the sofa or other places where you can massage him/her, and massage his/her abdomen clockwise, eight to ten times per group, four or five groups. Then do leg-lifting exercises for the baby and touch his/her legs at the same time, like counting beats, while teasing the baby and touching him/her. This is also a good way to massage the baby.

Parent-child games. My baby recovered on his own after about two months. Now he doesn't have bloating and can sleep for more than ten hours at night.
