What to eat when a baby is weaned

When the baby is just weaned, he or she will gradually accept human food, so at this time he or she can no longer rely on breast milk and formula for nutrition. You should pay attention before you wean the baby, and slowly let the child accept some of the fruits and vegetables we usually eat, including pureed meat. It would be better to wean the baby when he or she can fully accept it.

Weaning preparation period: 3-4 months

Apple Juice

Ingredients : 1 apple.

Preparation: Peel the apples, remove the core and grind into a paste. Then put the mud into a double-layer gauze bag, squeeze out the juice with your hands, and put it into the bottle.

Features: sweet and delicious, and full of moisture. Suitable for babies aged 2 months and above.

Tomato juice

Ingredients: 1 ripe tomato (about 80 grams), 10 grams of white sugar, and appropriate amount of warm boiled water.

Preparation: ① Wash the tomatoes, blanch them with boiling water until soft, peel and chop them, then wrap them with a clean double-layer gauze and squeeze the tomato juice into a small bowl; ② Add sugar to the tomato juice, mix it with appropriate amount of warm water and then drink it.

Features: This juice is sweet and sour. Tomatoes contain fructose, glucose, various minerals and rich vitamins, especially vitamin P. It contains organic acids and has a sour taste. Suitable for babies aged 3 months and above.

Carrot Soup

Ingredients: 80 grams of carrots, 5 grams of sugar, and appropriate amount of water.

Preparation: ① Wash the carrots and cut them into cubes, put them into a pot and add appropriate amount of water to boil, and it will take about 25 minutes to cook; ② Use clean gauze to filter out the residue and keep the soup, add sugar and mix well before drinking.

Features: Slightly sweet taste, carrots contain protein, fat, sugar, carotene, vitamin C, minerals, volatile oils, etc. Suitable for babies aged 3 months and above.
