How to determine if your child has ADHD?

Many parents find that their children are particularly active and energetic, so they often say that their children have ADHD. In fact, there is a clear line between children's ADHD and naughtiness. He procrastinates in doing homework, constantly interrupting it with excuses such as drinking water, eating, or urinating, and the time he spends doing homework is significantly extended. Second, the second manifestation of ADHD:

Hyperactivity: Hyperactivity is another common presenting symptom. The symptoms include a significant increase in activity, excessive restlessness, running back and forth or constant small movements, inability to sit still in the classroom, often twisting in the seat, or standing up. In severe cases, the child may leave the seat and walk around, or leave the classroom without permission. Talk too much, be noisy, interrupt, cause trouble, disrupt classroom discipline in order to attract other people's attention. He likes to watch and play dangerous games and often loses things. There are two types of hyperactivity: one is persistent hyperactivity. The child's hyperactive behavior is seen in any setting, such as school and home, and is often severe. The second is situational hyperactivity. Hyperactive behavior only occurs in certain situations (mostly in school) but not in other situations (at home), and various functional impairments are relatively mild.

Third, ADHD symptoms three:

Neurological developmental disorders: About half of children with ADHD have soft signs of the neurological system, such as clumsy rapid alternating movements, uncoordinated ataxia, inability to walk in a straight line, difficulty standing with eyes closed, positive finger-to-nose test, and inflexible fine motor skills. Some children may have visual-motor disorders, spatial position sense disorders, etc.

Fourth, the difference between children with ADHD and children who are naughty:

In terms of attention: Children with ADHD cannot concentrate for a long time in any situation, even when reading "picture books" or "cartoons". But naughty children are different.

Fifth, the difference between children with ADHD and children who are naughty:

In terms of behavioral purpose: the behavior of naughty children is often purposeful and planned; children with ADHD do not have this characteristic.

Sixth, the difference between children with ADHD and children's naughtiness:

In terms of self-control: naughty children have self-control in serious and unfamiliar environments, can behave themselves and stop crying; children with ADHD do not have this ability.
