What causes vitiligo in children?

Young children are still in the development stage and many of their body functions are not yet perfect, so their immunity is relatively weak and they are prone to vitiligo. At this time, parents should be careful not to use drugs casually, because the wrong use of drugs may affect the child's physical and mental health development. So what causes children to suffer from vitiligo?

First, the cause of the disease

Snacks and Beverages

Small foods and drinks are sweet and delicious. Children can eat them as snacks at any time.

Normal meals disrupt normal eating habits. Some snacks that do not meet hygiene standards may contain many chemical additives, such as dyes, preservatives, sweeteners, etc., which can cause direct harm to children's bodies. Long-term picky eating leads to insufficient nutrient intake, and malnutrition causes decreased immunity, which affects the normal development of the body and causes the occurrence of many diseases.

Industrial pollution

Other causes of vitiligo in children include: untreated waste gas and wastewater discharged from industrial production, and exhaust gas emitted by the rapidly growing number of motor vehicles contain many substances harmful to the human body, such as sulfur dioxide, strong acid, strong alkali, lead, arsenic, mercury, benzene, phenol and other chemical or heavy metal poisons that can directly cause damage to the human body. All of the above factors are the reasons for the increased incidence of skin diseases.

Agricultural pollution

Excessive use of chemical drugs on crops, such as pesticides, fungicides and ripening agents, and excessive feeding of growth hormones to meat poultry will result in residues in the body after slaughter, which will have adverse effects on human health.

Second, tonsil vitiligo in children

If your child has a cold or fever, don't be careless. Control the condition as soon as possible to prevent it from developing into tonsillitis and increasing the risk of vitiligo.

When inflammation recurs or lifestyle becomes irregular, the body mobilizes lymphocytes to fight viruses. This phenomenon of the body's spontaneous resistance to viruses is called "stress response." The vast majority of people do not have any problems with the body's "stress response." However, for people with poor immune function, after the inflammation ends, the "stress response" is still in effect, and excessive action will lead to the risk of vitiligo.

Whenever there is inflammation in the body, such as cold, gastritis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, etc. At this time, the body's cells undergo a "stress response" to fight inflammation, which can easily induce vitiligo. Many children develop tonsillitis as soon as they catch a cold or fever. In particular, if tonsillitis recurs, the stress system is repeatedly activated, making vitiligo more likely to occur.

Third, treatment precautions

1. Early detection and early treatment: The shorter the onset of vitiligo, the easier it is to treat. Therefore, when you find that your child has white spots, you must take him to a regular hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.

2. Professional treatment: If you are sick, do not seek medical treatment randomly and do not believe in folk remedies, so as not to delay the disease. You should go to a regular hospital for professional treatment.

3. Symptomatic treatment and differentiated treatment: Decide how to use the medicine according to the condition of the disease. In addition, since the physiological functions of children's nervous system, liver, etc. are not fully developed, when selecting medicines, we must consider both the needs of the disease and the adverse factors of the medicine on the children's body.
