Babies always cry, have mothers ever thought about these reasons?

Many people think that children's crying is in their nature. When people grow up, they are too embarrassed to cry even if they want to. Therefore, many parents do not pay much attention to their children's crying. However, for young children whose expressive abilities are not yet fully developed, especially babies who are a few months old, there are reasons for their crying. If left unchecked, it will be extremely detrimental to the children's physical health and personality development.

Reasons why babies cry

1. Reaction to cold: low crying, fatigue, bluish purple skin, pale and dry in severe cases, curled up whole body, and reduced movements. At this time, the mother can hold the baby in her arms and cover the baby with a small quilt.

2. Reaction to heat: loud and powerful crying, flushed skin, slight sweating on the forehead, movement of limbs, and slight fever in severe cases. At this time, the mother needs to loosen the quilt or move it away, wipe off the sweat and change clothes if the baby sweats a lot.

3. Reaction to hunger or thirst: At this time, the baby cries loudly, high-pitched, and regularly, and the head turns left and right. At this time, the mother can tentatively touch the baby's lips. If the baby immediately holds the nipple and sucks it, then she can feed him. After the baby is full, he will stop crying.

4. Reaction to wetting or defecating: Crying often occurs suddenly, the baby is in a hurry, and the lower limbs move more than the upper limbs. Sometimes the face turns red and there is straining before defecation.

5. Reaction to sleepiness: If the baby is tired but has trouble falling asleep, he will cry loudly and rub his face with both hands, especially the nose and eyes. At this time, the mother should pat the baby gently, paying attention to the rhythm of the patting. The rhythm of the patting should become slower and slower as the baby's crying becomes lighter and lighter, until the baby falls asleep.

Things to pay attention to when your baby is crying

1. If a child cries for more than 20 minutes, his brain will be damaged. Therefore, parents need to set a time limit for their children’s crying and should not let them cry endlessly. You should comfort and hold the child in time. If the child cries endlessly, you should send him to the hospital for examination in time.

2. In winter, babies go outdoors less during the day and consume less energy. They may cry at night, especially when they are unwilling to fall asleep, but their parents keep coaxing them to sleep, so they make a fuss. Therefore, parents should try to let their babies move more during the day.

3. If the baby suddenly cries at night and there are no signs of illness, parents will be anxious, but the baby will usually fall asleep again after coaxing him/her. This kind of sudden crying of the baby may be caused by discomfort during sleep.
