2. Do not use these medicines together with traditional Chinese medicine

2. Aspirin cannot be used together with Chinese medicines such as licorice and deer antler. Because the combined use of aspirin can aggravate the irritation of aspirin to the gastric mucosa and increase gastric acid secretion, which can aggravate the condition of ulcer patients and even cause upper gastrointestinal bleeding.

3. Western medicines containing bromine, such as tribromide, sodium bromide, calcium bromide, etc., cannot be used together with cinnabar containing mercury and Chinese patent medicines containing cinnabar. Because bromide ions and mercury ions can combine to form toxic mercuric bromide, it can easily cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc.

4. Sulfonamides cannot be used together with hawthorn, black plum, schisandra chinensis and Chinese patent medicines containing these ingredients. Because these Chinese medicines are acidic, they can make urine acidic, and sulfonamides easily form crystals in an acidic environment. The crystals can irritate the urethra and even cause hematuria, dysuria, and urinary retention.
