Parents should grasp the best time to treat hernia in children

Hernia mainly occurs in two groups, most commonly children and the elderly. Pediatric hernia is a surgical disease and occurs in babies soon after birth. If pediatric hernia is not treated in time, the child may suddenly develop hernia symptoms due to excessive force, and severe cases may affect life and health. Therefore, when a child has a hernia attack, it is necessary to check in time to avoid worsening of the condition.

Pediatric hernia cannot wait

Pediatric hernia usually occurs soon after the child is born and has a higher incidence rate. When the child cries, runs, or exerts too much force, a lump will be seen above the scrotum/labia and then disappears after calming down. Therefore, some children have been ill for a long time and their parents are unaware of it, resulting in missing the best time for treatment and leaving a lifelong regret. Pediatric hernia generally does not cause obvious discomfort. Once the disease progresses, the lump will fall close to the scrotum/labia, causing inconvenience to the child's activities and walking. In severe cases, incarceration may occur and cannot be reduced, and may even threaten life. At the same time, once incarceration occurs, the child will often suffer a lot of pain.
