What is the reason why children cannot concentrate in class?

As early as 1982, Deng Xiaoping put forward the slogan "Education should start from the cradle", which shows how important children's education in primary school is. However, some children cannot concentrate in class, which makes parents and teachers very distressed. So what causes children to be inattentive in class? First, let's understand the manifestations of children's inattention in class!

Children's inattention in class often manifests itself in the following ways:

1. When children are faced with something they are not interested in, do not understand, or think is too easy, they often show weak self-monitoring ability and are easily distracted;

2. The attention is scattered, the consciousness is not tense enough, and it is easy to be attracted by other things around;

3. The mind is easily scattered, the attention stability is low, and it is difficult to get things done and the mind is indecisive;

4. Doing things that you like and are interested in can often help you concentrate and not be easily distracted by the external environment.

If you find that your child has the above characteristics, it means that your child has not developed the good habit of concentrating on doing things. This is most likely caused by a poor family environment or parents not paying attention to cultivating this habit in their children.

For example, when a child is doing homework at home, there are always a few small toys, juice, snacks and the like piled on her desk. Parents are also accustomed to chatting with colleagues on the phone while watching their children do their homework.

There are too many distractions in a child's learning environment, making it difficult for her to concentrate on her work. When parents find their children procrastinating, they just keep nagging, urging and scolding, which makes the children lose interest in learning even more.

Therefore, to cultivate children's habit of concentrating on doing things, we must first start with the children's age characteristics and interests.
