What is precocious puberty related to?

We humans are a very magical organ. All physiological developments in the body have their own set of rules. However, more and more teenagers are now experiencing precocious puberty. The so-called precocious puberty means that the sexual organs in the human body and the sexual characteristics exhibited have changed prematurely. When the rules in our human body are broken, there will certainly be bad effects. So what does precocious puberty have to do with?

1. Influence of diet: Due to the rapid economic development in the past 10 years, people's material living standards have greatly improved, protein intake has increased, and even overnutrition and obese children have appeared. Overnutrition is conducive to sexual development. Studies have shown that moderately obese children are prone to precocious puberty.

2. Influence of environmental hormones: Some foods, health products and fruits may contain sex hormones or hormone-like substances, namely environmental hormones. Children who frequently consume these hormone-containing foods are prone to precocious puberty.

3. Influence of living environment: As material living standards improve, spiritual and cultural life is also quite rich. The real environment gives children more opportunities to witness scenes, pictures and books about love, which also promotes sexual development. There are also a small number of children who suffer from precocious puberty due to taking birth control pills by mistake. This is because parents fail to keep the contraceptive pills properly, and young children mistakenly eat them as candy. The ingredients in the contraceptive pills are sex hormones, which lead to precocious puberty.

4. Intracranial diseases that cause precocious puberty: tumors, brain abscesses, encephalitis, hydrocephalus, brain trauma, intracranial surgery, intracranial radiotherapy and chemotherapy, etc.

5. Diseases of the adrenal glands that cause precocious puberty: adrenal tumors, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, etc. Testicular diseases that cause precocious puberty include testicular interstitial cell tumor and familial orchitis. Ovarian diseases that cause precocious puberty include ovarian tumors and ovarian cysts.

The above five situations may affect the occurrence of precocious puberty in adolescents. When teenagers experience precocious puberty, it will have a certain impact on their physical and psychological health. As guardians of teenagers, parents must pay close attention to their behavior and try their best to ensure that their children do not experience precocious puberty.
