I don’t know if mothers have ever encountered this situation. Newborn babies will have exposed blue veins on their foreheads, faces, and even necks, which will be more obvious when the babies are crying. The old people call this phenomenon: "Blue veins on the bridge of the nose mean disaster is imminent." So does this have something to do with the babies' luck, and is it something that cannot be explained scientifically? Or is this just a medical omen? What effect will it have on the baby? With the development of the times, high-tech instruments such as X-ray and CT have played a better role in disease diagnosis. Many subjective and ambiguous diagnostic methods, including "inspection of the blue veins at the bridge of the nose", are gradually being forgotten. However, in recent years, we have conducted more systematic research on the blue veins on the bridge of the nose and found some interesting phenomena. "Blue vein babies" are prone to catching colds. We selected more than 150 babies less than six months old and divided them into two groups for observation. Among them, one group was babies born with blue veins at the root of their noses, and the other group was normal babies. During more than three years of follow-up, their disease rates were not significantly different from those of other children. However, we found an important problem: the incidence of colds and tracheitis. "Babies with blue veins" are significantly taller than children without blue veins. Babies with blue veins at the base of their noses are prone to respiratory infections, but what about older children? We then conducted a follow-up survey of more than 1,000 children in nurseries and kindergartens and found that approximately 30% of the children had blue veins on their faces. Compared with other children, they are also prone to recurrent colds, asthma and other respiratory diseases. There are also some tricks to get rid of the "blue veins". A large number of observations have shown that "babies with blue veins" have lower immune function, signs of blood stasis, and weaker constitution than other children. If blue veins are found at the base of the ears of a baby after birth, even if there are no signs of disease, you should take precautions. Because these babies are still temporarily protected by the antibodies provided by breast milk, six months later, when the quality of breast milk decreases or the number of breastfeedings gradually decreases, the chances of these babies getting sick will increase significantly. Finally, parents should not be lazy. For the health of their babies, parents should act as role models and "exercise more, eat less cold and greasy food, eat more fish, eggs, fresh vegetables and fruits, and develop good regular eating habits" together with their babies. Here I wish all the babies in the world to be healthy and grow up well. |
