It is normal for newborns to roll their eyes when sleeping

Babies have many sleeping problems. Sometimes some problems are not problems at all but are turned into big problems by their mothers, just like the problem of babies rolling their eyes when sleeping, which we are going to talk about today. This is a normal phenomenon. Just like babies often grin or cry when they sleep without realizing it, rolling their eyes is the same problem, so new mothers should not be afraid, it does not mean that there is something wrong with the child.

My baby starts rolling his eyes after having sex, especially when he was first six months old. I often saw him rolling his eyes when he was sleeping, and I was so scared that I almost fainted. After all, I was a first-time mother. Later I asked my mother-in-law, and she said it was normal and that many children would experience this. Later, I got some knowledge from some experts and found out that it is normal for newborns to roll their eyes when they sleep.

Generally speaking, babies look downward when they sleep. When babies sleep lightly, their eyes are not closed tightly, so from our perspective the babies show the whites of their eyes. This is a sleeping habit of babies. It is the same as when we ordinary people sleep, because it is dark at night, so it is not obvious whether the eyes are closed or slightly open. This leads us to develop the habit of sleeping with our eyes open. For babies, their eyeballs are facing downwards, which makes it look like they are rolling their eyes.

A newborn's eyes are not developed normally before 6 months, and the baby cannot see very far at this time. Newborns also often have symptoms of strabismus, which can be divided into esotropia and exotropia. Exotropia means the baby rolls his eyes, while esotropia is what we often call cross-eyed. This condition is normal before 6 months old, but if you find a serious condition, it is better to take the baby to a doctor.

Newborns are different from ordinary people. Their development requires a process. During this process, the baby will show many different behaviors from ordinary people, such as smiling while sleeping, spreading legs, opening hands, etc. These are all normal phenomena. If the baby is seriously affected by temperature or other factors at this time, systemic reactions such as vomiting, sneezing, and blinking will occur. If the baby does not receive much stimulation and has no effect, it is not a good thing either.

Although mothers should always observe their children's reactions and ask the elderly or people who know more about something they don't understand, this can avoid some lovely things from happening and can lower the mother's mental state. Long-term tension will also have a certain impact on the mother's postpartum recovery. The child is important, and your own body is also important.
