Why does it hurt when your baby urinates?

Painful urination in babies is a common problem in daily life. Many babies cannot express themselves and can only tell their parents and friends by crying. At this time, we, especially mothers, should pay more attention to the baby's physical condition. So what are the causes of painful urination in babies in life? Let's analyze it in detail now.

There may be two reasons: one is getting angry, and the other is inflammation. The possibility of urethritis is more likely. I suggest you take your baby to the hospital as soon as possible!

When letting your baby play, pay attention to hygiene and do not let her vulva get dirty. After urinating, parents should wipe the baby dry with a clean cloth (all the female babies around us do this). If your baby is already able to express his or her desire to urinate, it is recommended that he or she wear closed-crotch pants. She may not be used to it at first, but she will get used to it if you train her slowly!

At the same time, we need to rule out whether the baby girl's condition is caused by vaginitis. In our current life, we do not pay attention to the baby's hygiene habits, and baby girls are also very prone to vaginitis. Because young girls have poor external development and lack of estrogen, their vaginal epithelial resistance is low and they are susceptible to infection. The cause is often uncleanness of the external vagina, such as contamination by stool or direct contact with dirt, pinworm infection causing itching or scratching of the vagina; infections such as Trichomonas, mold, and gonococci are indirectly transmitted through the clothes, objects, washing utensils, and hands of sick mothers, caregivers, or other sick children; various foreign objects accidentally placed in the vagina can also lead to vaginal inflammation. Take a smear of the obstructive secretions or send them for culture to find the pathogen. Treatment: 1. Eliminate the cause: Trichomonas, fungi, and foreign bodies must be removed. 2. Instill the medicine corresponding to the pathogen into the obstruction; take 0.1 mg of diethylstilbestrol orally once a night for 7-14 days. For external obstruction itching, apply argonized cortisone topically.

The above are the causes of our baby’s painful urination. I hope that our parents and friends will carefully observe the baby’s every move and do not think that the baby’s crying is unreasonable. Sometimes it also reflects some problems. Once the best treatment time is missed, it will lead to very serious consequences.
