Baby's developmental indicators at 5 months

Baby's developmental indicators at 5 months

We all know that many babies are in unhealthy condition due to various influences. First of all, this situation has a great impact on our parents. If the baby cannot sleep well at night, our parents cannot sleep well either. We have to take care of our babies. As a result, our parents cannot rest well and will be listless at work the next day, which will affect our normal work. So no matter from the perspective of children's health or from the perspective of our parents, we should understand the baby's 5-month developmental indicators as soon as possible. Let us learn about the baby's 5-month developmental indicators together.

Indicator rules:

1. The sensory organs begin to take shape in the first 1-2 months

After 4 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus's retina begins to form. After 6 weeks, hearing begins to form. Then the rudiments of hands, feet and facial features begin to appear. However, the fetus's sensory functions have not yet developed at this time.

2. 3rd to 4th month: Sense of touch and taste develop

After 8 weeks of pregnancy, the baby's skin begins to feel sensation. As the number of neurons increases, it will move when you touch its abdomen with your hand. The sense of taste is fully developed between 11 and 12 weeks of pregnancy, and the baby can sense a variety of tastes, including sweet and sour.

3. Hearing begins to develop in the 5th to 6th month

The fetus's hearing is becoming more and more developed, and it will frown when it hears sounds it doesn't like. Starting from 18 to 20 weeks, the pregnant mother will feel the fetal movement, and the fetus will also contract in response to the pregnant mother's touch.

4. Vision becomes more sensitive in the 7th to 8th month

During the 27th to 28th week of pregnancy, the fetus's brain develops very rapidly. It can recognize rhythm and melody, and sometimes respond to sounds with fetal movements. At the same time, they can also feel the brightness and darkness of light and become more and more sensitive to external stimuli.

5. Sensory development is complete in the 9th to 10th month

At 37 weeks of pregnancy, the fetus can respond to almost any light and blink its eyes flexibly. As the space in the uterus shrinks, fetal movements become more frequent, but at this time its sensory development is almost the same as that of a newborn baby.

Sensory development is inseparable from brain development

6. In the third month, the head of the fetus appears large in proportion to its body, and the brain has developed very complexly; in the fourth month, the brain develops rapidly, but the surface of the brain is still smooth, without grooves; in the fifth month, the sensory organs begin to develop rapidly according to regions, and taste, smell, touch, vision, and hearing develop in specialized areas of the brain; at this time, the number of neurons decreases, and the connectivity between neurons begins to increase; in the seventh month, the fetus's brain cells are rapidly proliferating and differentiating, and the nervous system develops; by nine months, the function of the fetus's brain is already relatively developed.

The above content introduces the baby's developmental indicators at 5 months. I believe everyone now has a relatively complete and clear understanding. We must pay attention to this issue. For the health of our children and for our parents to be able to work normally, we should actively seek effective treatments so that our children can recover their health as soon as possible.
