What to do if your toddler cries while sleeping at night

Some young children have trouble falling asleep at night, and some even have serious crying problems. At this time, parents need to be alert. It may be that the baby is sick or unwell, so timely examination is needed. So what should we do if the child cries at night? Let me introduce this issue to you below.

It usually refers to the baby's spirit, diet, urination and defecation are normal, and he sleeps well during the day, but when it comes to going to bed at night, he starts crying and making a fuss, and no matter what you do to comfort him, it doesn't work. The whole family is exhausted and the neighbors are also restless. This is what people often call a "night cryer." This kind of baby is mostly because parents do not pay attention to cultivating good sleeping habits for him (her) or do not create a good sleeping environment. The baby sleeps too much during the day and cries and does not sleep at night; or the baby laughs and gets excited before going to bed; or there are too many people at home, noisy, or the TV is too loud before going to bed, etc., all of which will affect the baby's sleep. Good sleeping habits should be cultivated for babies from an early age to create a good sleeping environment.

There are many reasons why babies cry at night. One of them is that the baby develops too fast, and the original trace amount of vitamin D in breast milk can no longer meet the baby's needs, resulting in vitamin D deficiency, which affects the baby's absorption and utilization of calcium. Calcium lack will affect the stability of nerves. Therefore, vitamin D deficiency can cause infants and young children to have night terrors and cry at night, which is what we call night crying syndrome.

Vitamin D deficiency is completely avoidable. During spring and summer, newborn babies can be taken outside to get in the sun after 3 weeks. In autumn and winter, newborn babies can be taken outdoors after they are one month old, but care must be taken to prevent colds. Sunlight is a health catalyst. In addition, you should also pay attention to a proper diet. When the baby is two months old, add an appropriate amount of concentrated cod liver oil and calcium powder every day. After a period of time, the baby's night crying phenomenon will gradually disappear.

The above is my opinion on this issue. If a child has the above problems, then the child needs to pay attention to physical examination to avoid illness, especially pay attention to the child’s physical safety to avoid situations that affect the child’s safety. Finally, I wish the child a speedy recovery.
