Nosebleed, also known as epistaxis, is a problem that many people have encountered in real life. Many people think that nosebleed is actually caused by getting angry or some disease in the nasal cavity. In fact, there are many factors that cause nosebleeds, such as nasal trauma, inflammation, tumors, etc. These are all common nasal diseases. The factors that cause nosebleeds actually also include systemic diseases, such as acute febrile infectious diseases, blood diseases such as leukemia, etc. Of course, malnutrition or some other chronic diseases may also directly cause nosebleeds. So what are the other factors that cause nose bleeding? Nosebleeds can be caused by nasal diseases or systemic diseases. 1. Local causes ① Nasal inflammation: such as atrophic rhinitis, nasal mucosa is prone to cracking and bleeding. ② Nasal trauma: including contusion, cut, laceration, and nose picking injury, etc. ③ The nasal septum is deviated, and dry air hits the nasal septum for a long time, which can easily cause rupture of the mucosal blood vessels. ④Tumor: There are not many tumors in the nasal cavity, but if you have a tumor, it is easy to bleed; nasopharyngeal tumors can also cause bleeding in the nasal cavity. 2. Systemic causes ①Acute febrile infectious diseases: such as influenza, hemorrhagic fever, measles, malaria, infectious hepatitis, etc. ②Blood disease. The most common is thrombocytopenia, which reduces coagulation function and makes bleeding easy; followed by aplastic anemia, hemophilia, etc. ③ Cardiovascular diseases: such as hypertension and vascular sclerosis. ④Chronic liver and kidney diseases. Cirrhosis often causes coagulation disorders, and uremia easily causes damage to small blood vessels, both of which can easily cause nosebleeds. ⑤ Malnutrition. Deficiency of vitamin C, K, P and calcium can lead to bleeding. ⑥Other factors such as poisoning by phosphorus, mercury, arsenic, benzene, rapid changes in air pressure when climbing, flying, and diving, and endocrine disorders in women during menstruation or pregnancy may cause nosebleeds. To treat nosebleed, the first step is to stop the bleeding, and the second step is to eliminate the cause of the bleeding. For mild bleeding, you can stop the bleeding by pinching the nose, stretching your arms, or blowing your ears. Precautions ①Protect the nasal mucosa. ② Actively prevent and treat diseases that may cause nosebleeds. The main diseases include upper respiratory tract infection, hypertension, thrombocytopenia, nasal septum deviation, etc. ③Pay attention to diet and daily life. If you often eat spicy food, greasy and fried food, it is easy to cause what is commonly known as "getting angry", and the nasal mucosa is prone to rupture and bleeding. In addition, you should quit smoking and drinking. | In short, the factors that cause nosebleeds are actually multifaceted. Therefore, I would like to remind all my friends that when symptoms of nosebleeds appear, the most important thing is to check what the cause is, and then provide targeted treatment, so as to minimize the harm of nosebleeds. |
