Eruption order and timing of permanent teeth

Eruption order and timing of permanent teeth

When we grow to the age of four or five, the deciduous teeth in our body begin to enter the aging stage and slowly fall off. The loss of teeth at this stage may affect the appearance, but it is also for this reason that we can replace them with permanent teeth, so that we can grow sharp, useful and strong teeth. In addition, permanent teeth also have a tooth eruption order, so what is the order and time of permanent teeth eruption?

We all know that the permanent teeth in our mouth grow out after the deciduous teeth fall out. If we plan to let our permanent teeth grow out in the order we want, then the permanent teeth will definitely not look ugly. We all know that deciduous teeth do not fall out in order, which means that permanent teeth will not grow out in order, which will cause the grown teeth to be ugly. In order to avoid this problem, we must stipulate the order and time of permanent teeth eruption.

We all know that there are two batches of teeth in our mouth, the first batch is deciduous teeth. They start to grow out 6 months after we are born and are basically fully grown by around 3 years old. There are a total of 20 deciduous teeth. The second batch is permanent teeth, which appear to replace deciduous teeth. We only have one chance to replace our teeth in our lifetime, and that is when permanent teeth replace deciduous teeth. There are 28 permanent teeth in total.

So what is the order and time of permanent teeth eruption? We start to change our teeth at the age of 6 and continue until the age of 12, which means that the permanent teeth erupt between 6 and 12 years old. Generally speaking, the front teeth grow first, but there are special cases. There are 12 permanent incisors in total, 6 in the upper and lower jaws. The order in which permanent teeth erupt generally starts from the incisors, and starts from the center of the teeth, and then slowly grows to both sides.

In fact, the order of eruption of permanent teeth can be determined artificially, because permanent teeth replace deciduous teeth, and permanent teeth can only grow out after the deciduous teeth fall out. However, baby teeth do not necessarily fall out in order. In other words, if the baby teeth show no signs of loosening, you need to shake them loose by hand and pull them out by hand. We can extract the deciduous teeth according to the order we want the permanent teeth to grow out first.

Of course, not everyone will take the initiative to have their teeth extracted. Many people wait for the deciduous teeth to loosen and fall out automatically, and then the permanent teeth will slowly grow out. In this way, the order of permanent teeth eruption will be very chaotic. Generally speaking, molars are the last to be replaced, but if you wait for the deciduous teeth to fall out automatically, the molars may have already started to be replaced before the incisors have been replaced. There are fewer molars and they are replaced faster.

After the deciduous teeth are extracted, the permanent teeth will grow out within two or three days, which is very fast. Some people's deciduous teeth are loose, but if they are not removed in time, the permanent teeth have already grown out, resulting in double teeth, which are very ugly. Many people do not take care of their teeth and let their permanent teeth grow however they want. As a result, after the permanent teeth have grown in, the teeth look ugly both overall and in part. If the order of eruption of permanent teeth is determined from the beginning, then the permanent teeth will definitely not be ugly when they grow out.
