How long after breast development does menarche occur?

Girls' breast development usually begins before menstruation. After menstruation, girls' breasts will develop rapidly. At this time, girls' height has basically stabilized and will not change much. However, breasts can grow slowly, so you must choose a bra that suits you. So how long will it take for menarche to occur after breast development?

Signs before menarche:

The breasts begin to develop, swell and develop areolas, which feel firm to the touch - menarche occurs in about two years.

There is a sudden increase and significant change in height and weight - menarche occurs within about six months.

Pimples appear on the face (occasionally with small pustules) - menarche will occur in about 2 to 3 months.

The vagina begins to discharge a transparent, colorless, odorless and slightly viscous liquid like egg white (ovulation leucorrhea). After 10 days, if the leucorrhea is found to be brown, the first menstruation will occur about 2 to 3 days later.

But the above time sequence is not absolute.

The average age of first menstruation for Oriental women is between 12 and 16 years old. The statistics in different countries vary slightly, which is related to eating habits and climate.

After menarche, menstruation is often irregular, occurring only once every several months or a year, or bleeding continuously, resulting in "functional bleeding" of the uterus. This is because the ovarian function is not yet fully developed. Generally, menstruation will become normal after the ovarian function gradually matures.

Vaginitis in young girls is mainly caused by the following reasons:

① Anatomically, since young girls lack estrogen, their vulva is immature, and they lack the protection of labia majora and minora fat and the defense of pubic hair against microorganisms. In addition, the skin of the vulva is particularly thin and tender, making them easily invaded by pathogens. They are also sensitive to invasion by microorganisms and are easily traumatized and scratched.

②The pH value of a young girl’s vagina is neutral, which is suitable for the growth and reproduction of pathogens.

③ Children have poor hygiene habits and are prone to getting dirt, sand and other dirty things into the vagina. Or out of curiosity, they may put foreign objects such as rubber and glass balls into the vagina, causing inflammation. As long as vaginitis is treated in time, it can be completely cured and will not affect future development and menarche.
