How to care for babies with thrush

1. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the patient's oral cavity, provide guidance on feeding, and strengthen personal hygiene. Rinse the nipples with warm water before and after feeding, and give the baby a small amount of warm water after feeding. Use 1:3 honeysuckle and licorice solution to scrub the mouth 3-4 times a day. 2. Observe the increase or decrease of white flakes on the oral mucosa and tongue of the sick child and the sucking situation. 3. The nursing mother should eat a light diet and avoid spicy food and alcohol. Do not feed too much at one time. Those with constipation can be fed vegetable soup. Children's bottles, nipples and tableware should be cleaned and disinfected regularly.

4. The baby is unwilling to eat. If you have a mild fever and feel irritable, you should go to the hospital. If you find that the curd-like substance on the oral mucosa spreads below the pharynx, you should go to the hospital for treatment to prevent serious complications such as difficulty breathing. There is no improvement after 5 to 7 days of treatment, or the thrush becomes more severe.
