What to do if your child has a stomachache

What to do if your child has a stomachache

Children often have stomachaches because they are very naughty and their hands often touch all kinds of objects. Their fingers may be contaminated with various bacteria. When children put their fingers in their mouths or eat food with dirty hands, bacteria may be transmitted from the oral cavity to the other mouth, causing stomachaches. There are several other possible reasons for children's stomachache. This article introduces them one by one. Expectant mothers, come and learn about them.

The stomach pain we are talking about here is the stomach pain alone in the absence of other diseases, or accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea. If the headache is caused by a cold or fever, the fundamental principle is to reduce the fever.

The first one is the most common, that is, the child has a stomachache due to catching a cold. You rub your hands together to warm them up, then touch the child's stomach and ask him how he feels. If he says he feels comfortable, then he basically has caught a cold.

For stomach pain caused by cold, you should use a hot pack to apply heat to the child's stomach. Be careful to apply heat through clothes to avoid scalding the child. You can also let the child lie down and pinch the child's back, or use scraping, pinching the corresponding part of the back where it hurts. Sometimes kids fart, and that means it's working. You can also drink ginger soup at the same time.

If your child has a stomachache, think back and see if he has caught a cold. Or if he has eaten something that may irritate his stomach and intestines, and he wants to vomit. What I am talking about here is vomiting. I can't spit it out again. If you still have a headache, it might be that you ate something wrong. At this time, find a way to make the child vomit it out. It is quicker and easier to do so by directly digging near the child's throat. Be sure to wash your hands and cut your nails first. As soon as the child vomits it out, his head and stomach will feel much better.

If your child suddenly feels pain, vomits or has diarrhea, you should go to the hospital immediately. This means the condition is serious and he may have inflammation and needs intravenous drip. Don't delay, go to the hospital right away and don't wait overnight or anything, because appendicitis can also cause stomach pain.

Precautions

If your child has a stomachache, you must first recall whether anything has happened that may have caused the disease, and then solve the problem accordingly.
