How many months does the baby remember?

When a baby remembers to eat, he or she will hold back the food. At this time, the child's bowel movements begin to become regular. For a long period of time after birth, babies have very irregular bowel movements. This situation will gradually improve as the body continues to develop and various functions are improved. The emergence of baby belly memory also saves the family a lot of trouble. So, at how many months does a baby start to remember the belly? Let’s take a closer look below.

Many people do not know what constipation is. To put it simply, it means that the baby does not defecate for 2 to 3 days, 4 to 5 days, or even 15 days without any pain. When the baby defecates, the stool is still yellow and soft, without any hard lumps, and the amount is not particularly large.

The reason for abdominal fullness is that the baby's digestive system is constantly improving, and the breast milk is fully digested and absorbed. The food residue produced every day is very little, which is not enough to stimulate the rectum to produce defecation. The duration also varies from person to person. Some may last for 10 or 8 days, while others may last for half a month or a month.

It is normal for babies to have abdominal distension, and it will not cause any discomfort to the baby, so mothers do not need to worry too much. However, in order to ensure the rapid metabolic needs of the baby during infancy and seize the opportunity to cultivate the baby's good bowel habits and prevent constipation in the future, you can use some methods to deal with the baby's constipation, as follows:

1. Regular bowel movement

The phenomenon of babies holding their bowels usually begins to appear around 2 months after birth. At this time, training your child to have a regular bowel movement can help them develop good bowel habits very early, but if the baby does not cooperate, do not make the bowel movement shallow.

2. Drink plenty of water

Mothers can feed their babies some boiled water, vegetable juice or fruit juice between two feedings every day. Adding complementary foods after the baby is 4 months old can completely solve this bowel problem.

3. Perform abdominal massage

Mothers can usually give their babies abdominal massage. Daily massage can help the baby's intestinal peristalsis and facilitate defecation. You can gently rub the baby's abdomen with your palms, with the navel as the center, rotating from left to right and massaging 10 times, rest for 5 minutes, and then massage 10 times, and repeat 3 times. Or let the baby lie on his back, hold the baby's legs and do flexion and extension exercises, that is, stretch and flex once, for a total of 10 times, and then flex and extend one leg 10 times.

4. Increase milk supply

If the child has less bowel movements, it is mostly caused by insufficient breast milk. Mothers can add some formula milk to the baby in time. If the baby is already 3 months old, you can also add a little rice soup, which can also greatly improve the baby's stomach problem.
