The dangers of early development in girls

Parents would like to see their children's bodies develop at a normal rate. Development too early or too late may have a greater impact. Early development in girls may be caused by precocious puberty, the typical symptoms of which are premature breast development and premature menstruation. If it is determined that it is caused by precocious puberty, it will cause great harm. So, what are the dangers of early development in girls? Let’s take a look below.

1. Signs of tumor

Some cases of precocious puberty are caused by tumors in the body. These tumors can secrete substances similar to sex hormones. Sometimes, when the tumor is still small, the amount of sex hormones it secretes is already large enough to cause sexual development. Therefore, children with precocious puberty must see a doctor in time and receive diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.

2. Early sexual intercourse

The harm of precocious puberty in girls is mainly that the psychological development of precocious puberty children is extremely mismatched with their physical development. In addition, the patients are young in physical age, have little social experience, and have poor self-control, which can easily lead to their sexual behavior in advance, thus causing the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

3. Not growing taller

Children with idiopathic precocious puberty are affected by sex hormones in their bodies, causing their physical growth to accelerate prematurely, epiphyseal fusion to occur early, growth period to be shortened, and growth to stop early. Generally speaking, girls can only grow about 5 cm on average within 3 years after menarche, so the final height of children with precocious puberty will be shorter than that of their peers.

4. Psychological barriers

Although children with precocious puberty develop their sexual characteristics earlier, their psychological and intellectual development level is still at the actual age level. The premature appearance of sexual characteristics and development of reproductive organs can cause psychological disorders in immature children. In particular, seeing that their own sexual traits are different from those of people around them can easily cause children to feel inferior. This kind of mentality is likely to leave sequelae in their adulthood.

5. Impact on learning

It should be said that the appearance of sexual characteristics and the development of reproductive organs will definitely distract children, especially girls. Early menstruation often makes them feel uneasy, shy and nervous. At the same time, girls' bodies develop too early and they are unable to deal with the impact of menstruation on their lives. In addition, the imbalance in physical and psychological development also brings many inconveniences to their lives, which is bound to affect children's reading and learning.
