What medicine should I use for my child's peeling hands?

Many people have peeling hands. Some people have it because their skin is too dry, while others have it because of fungal infection. Children may also have peeling hands, but in most children this happens due to illness. So what medicine can be used to treat peeling hands in children? Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine have different views on peeling of children's hands. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is mainly caused by dampness and heat; while Western medicine requires the use of antibiotics to treat it.

What to do if your child's fingers peel

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this is mainly caused by internal accumulation of dampness and heat, blood deficiency and dryness, malnutrition of the skin, and dryness and heat generating wind. Treatment should be to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, nourish blood and dryness, and dispel wind and relieve itching. Therefore, use 10 grams of Atractylodes lancea, 10 grams of Phellodendron chinense, 10 grams of Anemarrhena asphodeloides, 30 grams of Coix seeds, 15 grams of Angelica sinensis, 30 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 15 grams of White Peony Root, 12 grams of Polygonum multiflorum, 10 grams of Kochia scoparia, 10 grams of Gentiana macrophylla, 10 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata, and 6 grams of Licorice. After taking this prescription twice, you can also add 3 grams of alum, boil it in water and soak the affected hands in the liquid for about 20 minutes each time. It has a moisturizing and antipruritic effect.

Lack of water and lack of maintenance is just one aspect. The real reason is bacterial infection of the skin and lack of vitamin C in the body. I used to be like this, a few times a year, especially in the fall and winter. Later I bought some Dakning and applied it and took vitamin C tablets and everything got better. It really worked. My hands stopped peeling and became smoother and more tender.

Two prescriptions for treating peeling hands

1) Mash fresh garlic into paste or cubes and rub it on your palms every morning and evening. It is effective.

2) Put 30g of Radix Rehmanniae and 30g of Radix Scrophulariae into a teapot or teacup, and use boiling water to make a drink. Take 3-5 times a day, half a cup to one cup each time. The condition will heal in about half a month.

Go to the drugstore to buy Vaseline, apply it on your hands before going to bed, massage them, and wear white cotton gloves to sleep. It works very well.

When the skin on the fingers starts to peel, most people like to tear or pull it with their hands. If the skin is accidentally broken, infection can easily occur. "Experts remind that once you find your fingers starting to peel, you must deal with it in time to avoid contact with irritating substances. Do not use strong alkaline detergents or other degreasers when washing your hands. The "Good Luck" hand soap for peeling hands, which is specially designed for daily hand washing and care for people with peeling hands and excessive sweating, is now on the market.

You should soak your hands in warm water more often and apply some oily skin care products. If your fingers are already infected, you should use ointment containing antibiotics appropriately. Peeling of fingers may be caused by epidermal keratosis pilaris syndrome. You can take large doses of vitamin B orally and apply urea cream and ointment externally. It will heal after a week. Rabbit meat + celery can also cause peeling.
