What causes spinal herniation in children?

The spine is the pillar of the human body. It is located in the middle of the back. If there is a problem with the spine, the upper body will be weak and unable to stand upright. Therefore, we must pay attention to protecting our spine in our lives. Some parents have found that their children's spines are not straight as normal, and some parts in the middle are protruding. Is this normal? What is the reason for children's spine protrusion?

In fact, this situation really exists. Since the spine of children is not yet fully developed, the structure is very unstable. The activeness of children often causes a part of the spine to shift, which is often not easy to detect due to its toughness. Symptoms will begin to show when children reach around 15 years old, and after they reach 25 years old, they will have long-term problems in their lives and studies. This shows that children's spinal health cannot be ignored.

There are six main reasons for spinal subluxation:

1. Inappropriate exercise during the growth process, including excessive jumping, can cause damage to the spine.

2. Congenital deficiencies, such as premature birth and abnormal spinal development, cause children to have poor physical constitution and slow bone development.

3. After trauma, the force structure of the spine changes significantly, leading to abnormal development of the spine.

4. Damage caused to the baby's young spine by the mother during the delivery process, such as excessive rotation and traction.

5. Lack of physical exercise causes the muscles and ligaments attached to both sides of the spine to be weak, resulting in poor stability of the spine.

6. Long-term incorrect sleeping, sitting and standing postures can cause scoliosis and pelvic distortion.

Due to the bearing capacity and flexibility of children's spine, children will not feel any adverse feelings for the time being. Although there is no permanent damage, when it is discovered years or even decades later, it has already entered the first stage of degeneration. So parents should pay enough attention to it.
