What material is good for baby food bowls

When choosing complementary food bowls and chopsticks for the baby, parents always pay more attention to the method and process, because the bowls and chopsticks selected for the children must have no quality problems and be very safe. There is no need to worry about toxins being produced during the process of being too hot or too scalding, so the material used when selecting is very important.

What material is good for baby bowls?

1. Imitation porcelain tableware:

The most practical but the quality is hard to guarantee. The texture is soft, smooth like porcelain but very light and thin. It is not afraid of falling or deformation, has good heat preservation performance and is not hot. Imitation-porcelain tableware is complicated to make and therefore easily adulterated. Many companies use toxic urea-formaldehyde molding powder instead of normal resin raw materials because molding powder is much cheaper.

2. Plastic tableware:

Make your baby love eating more. It looks good, can make babies more interested in eating, and is fall-proof. It is easy to accumulate grease and dirt, difficult to clean, and easily has edges and corners after friction, causing unsafe conditions.

3. Stainless steel tableware:

Suitable for drinking water. Moms can rest assured: it is easy to clean, not easy to breed bacteria, contains few chemical elements, and is suitable for drinking water. Stainless steel tableware can easily become hot, and unqualified heavy metal content can be harmful to health. Food with soup should not be kept for a long time, because the soup often contains acidic substances, which will dissolve the nickel and chromium in unqualified stainless steel tableware. These heavy metals will be ingested by the baby and affect the brain and heart health.

4. Ceramic and glass tableware:

Environmentally friendly and healthy but easy to break. Glass and ceramics are the main tableware used by adults. They are more environmentally friendly and have perfect craftsmanship. Ceramic and glass tableware are easy to break and may hurt your baby.

5. Bamboo and wooden tableware:

If you want to buy wooden tableware, buy unpainted ones. If you choose wooden baby tableware, it will keep heat better, look more natural, have a more delicate and soft texture, and won’t hurt the baby as easily. It is difficult to clean and easy to breed bacteria. Decorative paints are highly toxic.

6. Enamel tableware:

Good cutlery that is gradually disappearing. Good thermal insulation and low content of harmful substances. It is easy to deform after being dropped many times, and the porcelain is easy to fall off and be eaten by the baby. The production cost is high and the process is complicated, so it is rarely seen.
