Sebaceous cysts are a common skin disease that usually presents as small white bumps as big as a needle head. It is more likely to grow on the face, especially around the eyes of women. The reason why fat particles appear is that a small white bag is generated during the process of self-repair of skin injury. Another possibility is that the white particles are formed due to the accumulation of sebum in the skin.

Treatment

Small white particles around the eyes ≠ fat particles

In fact, these small white particles that grow on the surface of the skin of the upper and lower eyelids are not the so-called "fat granules", but a skin disease. In most cases, they should be milia, and in very rare cases they may be syringoma. "Fat granules" is an inappropriate term used by non-professionals to describe these tiny particles that lacks scientific basis.

The formation of milia is related to genetic constitution. It originates from benign tumors or retention cysts of the epidermis or appendage epithelium. Its appearance is similar to that of stones, and it is yellow-white in color, about the size of a needle tip or a millet grain. Small white lumps can be seen when they are pricked with a needle. When the skin is not clean enough, such as using heavy eye shadow and other makeup products for a long time, or using too much scrubs and exfoliating products, it will cause tiny wounds that are invisible to the naked eye on the skin around the eyes, and then produce small white cysts - milia papules - in the process of skin self-repair. People who usually have this problem have dry skin and use highly moisturizing products, so they often mistakenly think that the eye cream is to blame. In fact, men and children who have little awareness of skin care are also common "victims" of milia in clinical practice.

Syringoma is a nevus-like tumor formed by the differentiation and abnormal development of the ducts in the epidermis of the eccrine sweat glands. It is common in adolescent females and is generally a 2-3 mm flesh-colored or brown papule that is often symmetrically distributed on the lower eyelids. It can also be seen on the forehead, cheeks, neck, etc. Some may be densely packed into dozens, while others may occur singly.

Daily care

To eliminate fat particles, you should pay attention to the cleanliness of the eyes and increase the frequency of exfoliation appropriately to ensure normal excretion and absorption of the skin.

If you have dark circles, eye bags and fat particles, it is recommended to use eye skin care products that contain green tea essence, hyaluronic acid and other ingredients. It prevents the formation of oil particles around the eyes. You can also use eye drops, which can eliminate dark circles, swelling, and fatigue. The specific steps are:

1. Use your ring finger to apply an appropriate amount of eye gel, gently massage along the eye muscle texture, and gently tap around the eye area with your fingertips until completely absorbed.

2. You can apply vitamin E to the fat particles and massage until absorbed. Long-term use can effectively treat fat particles.

Another method is to use eye care essential oil, because it contains lipotropic factors, which can quickly penetrate the skin and eliminate excess fat to eliminate bags under the eyes.

During the massage process, essential oils can accelerate blood circulation in the eyes, stimulate sebaceous gland secretion, improve dark circles and eye bags, and keep the skin around the eyes moisturized.

3. After removing makeup and cleaning the eyes, wet the eye pad and apply it on the eyes for about 10 minutes.
