Does every child get chickenpox?

For children, because their body resistance is relatively poor, once they come into contact with some bacteria and viruses in life, it is easy to cause some diseases. Parents should pay more attention to their children's physical health in daily life, help them prevent some diseases, and try not to take very young children to public places. So, does every child get chickenpox?

Children are more susceptible to chickenpox. Chickenpox is an acute infectious disease caused by the initial infection of varicella-zoster virus (VZV). It has a high infection rate. It mainly occurs in infants and young children, and is characterized by fever and the appearance of large numbers of systemic red maculopapular rashes, herpes, and scabs. It is common in winter and spring, and is highly contagious, and can be transmitted by contact or droplets. The incidence rate in susceptible children can reach more than 95%, and it is more common in preschool children.

The Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention lists chickenpox as one of the main diseases that cause infectious disease outbreaks and public health emergencies in schools.

Although chickenpox is a disease that can heal on its own, it takes a long time to develop and may be accompanied by various complications such as fever, headache, skin infection, pneumonia, encephalitis, etc. It may also leave scars on the baby.

Even if you become immune after having the disease once, the virus will remain in the ganglia for life after you recover from chickenpox. When the human immune function is low, these viruses will replicate along the nerves and form shingles. Many adults among us have suffered from the pain of shingles.

You may have had the painful experience of having chickenpox as a child. Many people think that children will get chickenpox at one time anyway and it is no big deal, but anyone who gets it will regret it.
