What should I do if my child has a dry and stuffy nose?

We have all had colds in our daily lives. In fact, it is very common for babies to have a stuffy nose. After all, they are young, so they will cry. Sometimes the baby's nose will be particularly dry. So what can we do?

The following are some tips you can use when your baby’s nose is blocked. Parents, let’s learn together!

1. Drink scallion water. Take 5 green onions, remove the white parts and wash them, add 40 ml of water, bring to a boil and then simmer for 3 minutes, add a small amount of sugar, put it in the bottle, and let the baby drink when the temperature is right.

2. Saline nose drops. Put 1 teaspoon of salt in 240 ml of warm water, put it in an empty eye drops bottle, hold the baby upright, drop 1 drop into each nostril, then let the baby lie down for a while and use a nasal washer to suck out the secretions.

3. Wipe your nose with wet wipes. Prepare a small towel, soak it with warm water, and then gently press and rub the baby's nose. Repeat this many times. The snot or nasal congestion will be softened by water and can be easily wiped off.

If you wipe your baby's nose with a warm, wet towel before going to bed, and then drop 1 to 2 drops of cooling oil or mint water on the pillow, his nose will be more comfortable when he sleeps.

Every baby is the apple of his parents’ eyes. Care and patience are essential for every parent. If mom and dad pay more attention and observe their babies in daily care, I believe their babies will grow up healthily and happily!
