The dosage can be increased for patients with severe conditions. To completely eliminate pathogens and reduce complications, the treatment course should be at least 10 days. Those who are allergic to penicillin can use erythromycin or cephalosporin. In severe cases, the drug can also be administered intravenously, with a course of 7 to 10 days.
