Why does my child's throat always make a gurgling sound?

If a child always has a hmming sound in his throat, it may be caused by acute pharyngitis in children. This is especially true when the child catches a cold and has poor body resistance, which can easily lead to this problem. In daily life, parents should also do a good job of care and ensure that the child’s living environment is well ventilated to avoid contact with high-temperature dust and irritating gases.

1. Acute pharyngitis in children is an acute inflammation caused by lesions of the pharyngeal mucosa and submucosal and lymphoid tissues. It often occurs after acute rhinitis or acute tonsillitis or is part of an upper respiratory tract infection. It is also often a local manifestation of systemic disease or a prodromal symptom of acute infectious disease. When children's systemic or local resistance is reduced due to cold or other reasons, pathogenic microorganisms take advantage of the opportunity to invade and cause acute pharyngitis. Malnutrition, frequent exposure to high temperature, dust, and harmful irritating gases can easily cause chronic pharyngitis.

2. Lifestyle factors. Many children do not have very good living habits. For example, they do not wash their hands frequently, pick their noses frequently, do not brush their teeth before going to bed at night, etc. Experts say that these are incorrect. Parents should not spoil their children, but should urge them to develop good behavioral habits, which will not only be beneficial to their future life, but also to their health.

3. Environmental factors. Children in cities have to inhale too much exhaust gas, pollution, etc. Therefore, when at home or at school, you must ensure that the air in the child's room is fresh. If the air conditioner is turned on, you need to open the window regularly to replace the fresh air. Experts recommend that children should wear masks when going out in weather such as heavy fog.

4. Other disease factors: The child suffers from other adjacent organ diseases, such as rhinitis and otitis media, and the parents do not pay much attention to it at this time, thus inducing pediatric pharyngitis. Similar to adults, it often occurs in combination with acute infectious diseases or upper respiratory tract infections. It is often secondary to respiratory tract infections such as rhinitis, pharyngitis, and upper respiratory tract infection. It can be a precursor disease to acute infectious diseases such as influenza, pneumonia, measles, chickenpox, whooping cough, scarlet fever, etc.
