New born baby health

Newborn babies are very fragile and their skills are not perfect, so they are very susceptible to various diseases. As parents, we should always pay attention to the physical health of babies. Because when they are just born, babies have poor resistance and are prone to various diseases. To avoid these diseases and let children grow up healthily, parents need careful care.

1. Physical weakness

If babies suddenly leave the warmth of their mother's body, they will not be able to adapt; and their body temperature regulation center cannot self-regulate and adapt like adults, so they can easily suffer from hypothermia and cold damage. At this time, you should immediately use a warm towel to wipe the baby's entire body dry, and use all available methods to keep the baby warm, such as turning on the air conditioner to heat the baby, so that the baby is at normal room temperature. If it is a premature baby, due to congenital deficiencies, the temperature should be set higher, but it is better to keep it within normal temperature. In addition to paying attention to the temperature, the humidity should not be too low. The optimal range is around fifty-five.

2. Nutritional Supplements

A full-term baby can be brought to the mother's bed for breastfeeding about thirty minutes after birth. This can not only provide the baby with nutrition as soon as possible, but also promote the new mother's milk secretion. Don't force yourself to feed the baby a certain amount of milk, as long as the baby gets enough. If the mother has not yet secreted milk, there is no need to worry, she can give her baby formula milk first.

3. Breathing method

Newborns breathe abdominally, and the frequency is much faster than that of adults, about forty times per minute in a quiet state. Because babies' respiratory tracts are relatively narrow, they can easily have breathing difficulties. Therefore, make sure the baby's sleeping position allows for unobstructed breathing, and always pay attention to whether the baby's breathing condition and frequency are normal.

4. External Contact

Babies have a weak immune system and have no resistance to external bacteria. Therefore, you must wash your hands carefully before contacting children. If the parents or relatives happen to be suffering from an infectious disease, or are carriers of infectious pathogens, they must not come into contact with the newborn, otherwise the disease can easily be transmitted to the baby.

5. Pay attention to hygiene

Although the baby is very small, hygiene should also be paid attention to. Babies should be bathed regularly, and their butts should be cleaned with warm water after each poop to prevent dirt from contaminating their external genitalia. It is best to use pure cotton diapers instead of disposable diapers to prevent allergies. Change the diaper frequently to avoid diaper rash or diaper rash.

VI. Health Defense

According to the relevant regulations of our country's Ministry of Health, newborns should start to be vaccinated after birth to improve their immunity to certain infectious diseases and avoid the occurrence of infectious diseases. Therefore, parents must strictly implement and take their children to the hospital for corresponding vaccinations at the prescribed time.

The bodies of newborn babies are very fragile. Parents must pay close attention to the health of newborn babies, pay attention to the protection of the babies, keep the newborn babies away from various viruses in the outside world, and provide them with enough nutrition so that their children can grow up healthily and happily, and eventually become a person who can be useful to the society.
