Precautions for children in emergency department

This symptom of early childhood emergency is relatively common in life and may occur in every baby. We should pay attention to keeping the baby warm. When encountering a high fever, we should not panic, but should take the baby to the hospital for treatment immediately. Moreover, the baby's resistance will be reduced when the fever is high. We can use physical cooling methods to reduce the fever, let the child drink more water to increase body fluids and adjust the baby's diet.

Precautions for infantile rash

1. Don’t worry too much about high fever: Roseola infantum is common in infants and young children, and it is often the first fever since the baby is born, and it is a high fever. What worries parents the most when roseola infantum occurs is the persistent high fever. Even if antipyretics are taken, the body temperature will rise again in a short time. But parents should note that although the baby has a high fever, his mental state is not too bad and it basically does not affect his play and eating. This is different from other diseases. After contracting roseola infantum, children can gain long-lasting immunity and rarely get the disease a second time.

2. Breastfeeding mothers need to increase the amount of fluid supplements: If the baby is still breastfeeding, the mother needs to increase the amount of fluid supplements. When the child is sick, he or she is more dependent on the mother's breastfeeding. Try to feed more milk to improve the baby's immunity. Mothers should be careful not to eat eggs, fish, shrimps, garlic, leeks and other foods in their diet, and try not to eat raw, cold or spicy foods.

3. Strengthen children's ability to resist viral invasion: Roseola infantum is a mild infectious disease, so in winter and spring, parents can give their children a bag of Isatis root powder every day to strengthen their ability to resist viral invasion and prevent diseases.

Dietary taboos for infantile rash

1. Eggs, chicken and other high-protein foods: Eggs are a type of food that is prone to allergies, so when your baby has roseola, try not to eat eggs, as it may cause skin allergies and lead to internal heat. Children with roseola usually have internal heat, so parents should not feed their children too nutritious food at this time, as it may cause increased internal heat. It is best to eat light food and drink plenty of boiled water to assist in treatment.

2. Fish, shrimp, crab and other seafood are irritants: Fish, shrimp and crab are irritants that can induce wind and disease and increase fire, especially when eaten raw. Patients should avoid them. Because roseola infantum is a rash disease caused by a viral infection, the patient is required to eat a light diet and liquid or semi-liquid diet during the illness. So as not to increase the burden on the stomach.

3. Irritating foods such as leeks and garlic: For example, leeks, garlic, spicy hot pot and other irritating foods are spicy in nature and irritating to the stomach and body. They can aggravate the symptoms of febrile diseases, hemorrhagic diseases, and various inflammations such as sores, boils, carbuncles, and swellings, and promote inflammation.

4. Fried foods such as French fries, fried chicken, fried duck, fried fish, fried shrimp, etc. When the baby suffers from roseola infantum, the stomach and intestines need to detoxify, so light food is needed to relieve the pressure on the stomach and intestines.

5. Pickled foods: Try to eat less pickled vegetables, salted vegetables, leeks, etc., as they will stimulate the further development of the disease.
