What to do if the child's head is a little crooked?

Many mothers will find that their baby's head is tilted when sleeping, which will affect the spine, causing deformation of the cervical vertebrae and symptoms of torticollis. The problem of a child's tilted head can be solved with a shaping pillow. Adjust the position of the child's head in time and massage the direction of the tilted head. You can also use grain as a pillow to fix the child's head shape.

1. Place a cushion on one side of the baby's head or buy a shaping pillow for the baby and place it on the side where the baby's head is slightly tilted. Use something soft to raise it a little so that the head cannot tilt to that side at will. Or you can go to a baby store and buy a shaping pillow, which is also very effective.

2. Change positions when talking to the baby. When the baby is awake, the mother or family members should sit on both sides and talk to the baby, instead of just talking to the baby on one side. Especially the side where the baby's head tilts when sleeping, so as to make it easier to correct it.

3. Massage the baby's neck moderately. Depending on the direction of the baby's head, you can massage the baby's neck moderately frequently to relieve the pressure on his neck. Over time, it will have very good effects. For example, if the baby's head tends to tilt to the right, you can massage the right side of his neck.

4. Use a rice bag to fix the baby's sleeping position. If the baby is accustomed to a certain sleeping position and cannot maintain the corrected sleeping position for a long time, or often turns back to the original sleeping position, it will be more difficult to deal with. Mothers can make a rice bag and place it on the back of the baby's head to stabilize his or her head. If the baby has a left-leaning head, let him sleep on the right side; otherwise, let him sleep on the left side.
